Frequently Asked Questions

How does the time slider work?

Bookings are displayed when the pickup time is in the selected window. The slider moves in 15-minute steps. When the left handle is all the way to the left, the time shows 8 hours ago. This way the map displays any past-due business still on the board.

Which calls are shown on the map?

The heatmap only displays available calls.

What do the vehicle type filters mean?

The vehicle type filters are for the different kinds of calls. They are the same vehicle types dispatch uses:

  • A1: ATS
  • A2: DCATS
  • D: Delivery
  • H: High rider
  • M1: Move job
  • R: Regular (any vehicle)
  • R4: Regular 4 seater (any vehicle with at least 4 seats)
  • R6: Regular 6 seater (any vehicle with at least 6 seats)
  • R7: Regular 7 seater (any vehicle with at least 7 seats)
  • S: Any sedan
  • V: Any van

The filters are derived from the booking data. Some of the filters may not appear if they have not been recently used. Likewise, undocumented filters may appear if vehicle types are added to the system.

When does the data update?

Any available updates are pushed from iCabbi as changes occur, and a complete update is pulled every 15 minutes to ensure data is consistent. Your view of the data refreshes automatically every few minutes while the page is open, and right away when you move the slider or come back to the tab. The time window moves forward with each refresh. The 'Last Updated' line shows the last time your view of the data was updated.
